Programme Details

The Master of Engineering (Electronic System) offers a unique combination of science and engineering appeal in Electronic Engineering. It provides graduates with the opportunity to conduct an in-depth study in Electronic Engineering and equips them with the ability to perform professional analysis, design, implementation, testing and documentation. 

*Note: Student has the option for a Dual Degree with Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule (OTH)Regensburg, Germany. Students under the Dual Degree programme will be recognised as a regular full-time student of both institutions and shall only pay Tuition Fee to the Home University. The students who fulfilled both requirements from the Home and Host University will be awarded with the Degree from both universities.

Entry Requirements
Academic Requirement

(1) A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields with CGPA of 2.75 and above or equivalent as approved by the Senate; or 

(2) A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields with CGPA of 2.00 and above but less than CGPA of 2.75, or equivalent as approved by the Senate subject to rigorous internal assessment. 

3) Candidates without a Bachelor’s degree in the related fields or relevant working experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by UTAR and meet the minimum CGPA set out in (1) to (2).

Language Requirement
- IELTS Acadamic: 5.0  (CEFR  Level B1) 
- TOEFL : 500/ TOEFL iBT Score 40 - 45
- MUET Band 3.5
